Save America's Bike Lanes

Bike lanes are under attack.

It started with mocking "DEI bike lanes" on social media. Then federal safety regulators quietly stripped bike lanes off the list of Proven Safety Countermeasures. Now the administration's transportation priorities would block all federal funding for bike infrastructure and actively support ripping out lanes that already exist—all so drivers can go faster and faster.

Let's be clear about what's at stake: our safety and access to the road is being threatened in a way that would have been unthinkable just two years ago.

Bicyclists and pedestrians make up roughly 20% of the 36,000 lives lost on American roads every year: already a shocking outlier compared to the rest of the world. What works to make people biking safer is clear: building separated bike lanes. It’s a fact proved time and again across the U.S. It’s data, not politics.

In response, we’re immediately pushing back on Capitol Hill in a concerted, full-strength effort to SAVE AMERICA’S BIKE LANES. We’re leveraging relationships built over decades to rebuff culture-war nonsense with common sense, evidence-based solutions and bipartisan resolve. We can only do this with your help.

Please support us in this effort with a gift today. If you agree that bike lanes save lives and bike infrastructure makes our neighborhoods safer, healthier and more connected, please chip in today.

To get us started, a generous donor is matching our first $10,000 of contributions and everyone who contributes $75 or more in a one-time gift will be offered our limited-edition Bike Lanes Save Lives camp hat.
